About The Event

World Lung Day is an annual event that is held on September 25th to raise awareness about lung health and the burden of respiratory diseases. The theme for World Lung Day 2023 is "Breath of Life: Healthy Lungs for All." This theme highlights the importance of accessible and equitable lung health care for every individual, regardless of their socioeconomic background or geographic location.

Policy Circle is organising a World Lung Day event for policymakers and medical practitioners. Experts from around the world will discuss the burden of respiratory diseases, ways to tackle respiratory diseases in the post-Covid era, and how to improve access to prevention schemes and treatment for poorer sections of the society.

Join us to share global best practices, success stories from within India, and policy measures needed to address the rising case load of respiratory diseases.
